CNC Milling Machining
In 2014, we've expended our successful motorsport business with the addition on a HURCO milling machine. This was a response to a need from our clients for custom design and manufacturing in the Ottawa / Gatineau area. We've since produced a few original high-end pieces to fill the gap in the industry. Our facility utilizes three axis machining as well as CNC lathes, milling, and grinding equipment. We work with steels, aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, and exotic metals. Offering services that go beyond the standard job shop with reverse engineering and prototyping, as well as tool design and product development. We take quality seriously! Advantages
Milling has several advantages over other manufacturing processes. It is cost effective for short runs. Complex shapes and high dimensional tolerances are possible. Smooth finishes can be achieved. CNC milling can produce almost any 2D or 3D shape provided that the rotating cutting tools can reach the material to be removed. Examples of parts include engine components, mold tooling, complex mechanisms, enclosures, etc.
Custom design and manufacturing
We can accommodate milled components up to 30” in width, 50” in length, and 32” in height, with part weights for both turning and milling up to 450 lbs., all while maintaining tolerances of ± 0.0002”.
